After needing to cancel our Summer 2020 season, we are thrilled to be looking forward to Summer 2021. Even as we continue to face uncertainty in the face of the pandemic, we are excited to be planning for a summer of campers and fun.
Our directors and administrative team have been working hard to monitor the the pandemic closely, following MA State, Medford Board of Health, CDC, and American Camp Association guidance. We are committed to providing a healthy and fun program, as always. We are following the Department of Public Health’s Camp Safety Guidelines, and expect refined guidance closer to the start of our season.
This summer, we will have smaller cohorts of campers, and we will not mix between cohorts. Staff will be podded with campers, except for a few staff like our lifeguards and directors who will be careful to avoid “close contact” encounters with campers and staff. We will use face covering, social distancing, hand washing, and extra sanitizing to help keep camp safe. We plan to add large tents so that event more of our program can take place outside, utilizing our large, air conditioned campus when weather forces us inside. We are hopeful we will be able to use our outdoor pool, but can say now we will not be able to offer instructional swim. We will update parents on the camp schedule and specific offerings closer to the start of our program, once we have confirmed what is possible. As we have learned through the pandemic, we continue to be flexible in responding to updated guidance and regulations and will update our COVID plan and procedures accordingly.
We have updated our camp day hours to eliminate mixing between cohorts and to allow for extended drop off and pick up hours. Please see our Summer 2021 Dates and Rates page for more info and our refund policy..
