Our experienced staff of mature and dedicated counselors has made a commitment to the safety of our campers. They supervise all daily activities (arts & crafts, athletics, swimming, etc.) as well as special events, such as Carnival Day, Olympic Day, World Cup Tournament, and evening entertainment. Senior counselors supervise carefully selected junior counselors and C.I.T.s in all aspects of camping as related to our campers. All staff members at Camp Six Acres have had thorough background checks yearly through the Criminal History Systems Board (CORI) and the Sexual Offender Registry (SORI).
Dori-Ann Delatizky, Director
Dori-Ann Delatizky is a long time Six Acres alumni. She spent her summers at Camp Six Acres over a decade ago, first as a camper, then becoming a CIT, Junior Counselor and then Senior Counselor. She left camp when she transitioned to teaching year round at a preschool, where she worked from 2013-2019. In 2019 she switched to teaching in public schools, where she has led 1st and 3rd grade classrooms as well as ESL. Dori-Ann has a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Autism. She has worked with diverse groups of students and in different capacities and is thrilled to return as leader of Camp Six Acres.
